   Explosion proof hoist Provisions for lifting devices

1. The ratio of the small diameter of the drum, crown wheel, wheel and guide wheel of the lifting device to the diameter of the wire rope shall not be less than 60.

2. It is allowed to wind two layers of wire rope on the drum of the lifting device specially used for lifting materials.

3. If two or more layers of wire rope are wound on the drum, the following requirements shall be met:

(1) the edge of the drum shall be higher than the outer layer of steel wire rope, and the height difference shall not be less than 2.5 times of the wire rope diameter;

(2) wooden lining with spiral groove shall be set on the drum;

(3) special attention should be paid to the critical section (equivalent to a quarter of the rope loop length) from the lower layer to the upper layer of the steel wire rope, and the number of broken wires should be counted. The wire rope should be moved in a quarter of a turn every quarter.

4. When the head of steel wire rope is firmly inside the drum, the following regulations shall be observed:

(1) the device for fixing the steel wire rope shall be set in the drum, and it is not allowed to fix it on the drum shaft;

(2) the rope eye on the drum shall not have sharp edge and burr, and no sharp angle shall be formed at the bending position to prevent the wire rope from deformation;

(3) there must always be three circles of steel wire rope on the drum as friction ring to reduce the tension at the joint of steel wire rope and drum.

The spare wire rope for periodic test can be kept in the drum or wound on the drum.

5. The flange of crown wheel shall be higher than the wire rope in the rope groove, and the higher part shall be 1.5 times larger than the diameter of wire rope. For the crown wheel with gasket, the liner must be tightly fixed. When the liner is worn to the depth of one wire rope diameter or half of the wire rope diameter along the side, it should be replaced immediately.

6. When lifting materials with tramcar in inclined shaft, the speed of lifting container must be observed. When the length of inclined shaft is greater than 300m, it shall not exceed 5m / s.

7. The electromechanical control system of lifting device shall have the following protection and electrical locking devices:

(1) an over speed protection device is set to stop the hoist braking when the lifting speed exceeds 15% of the specified speed to realize the braking of the hoist;

(2) the overwinding protection device is installed on the derrick and depth indicator. When the lifting container or counterweight exceeds 0.5m of the normal unloading position (the cage is in and out of the vehicle), the lifting device is braked to stop running and realize the braking at the same time. The over winding protection device shall also be provided with interlock device which can not connect power to the over winding direction;

(3) the short circuit and protection device of the main drive motor shall be set to ensure the braking action in time;

(4) set over-current and no electricity protection device, when the hoist is overloaded or power supply is interrupted, the hoist brake stops running.

There are three main characteristics of cast iron welding for explosion-proof hoist: (1) due to the existence of graphite, it is easy to cause the existence of thermal stress cracks and thermal cracks in the welding process. (2) Because the matrix of the weld is much smaller than that of the weldment, the cooling rate is faster and the white spot structure is produced in the weld. (3) Because of the poor tensile and plasticity of cast iron, it is easy to cause weld peeling in the fusion zone.

Although there are many kinds of cast iron and different properties in cast iron welding, according to the characteristics of cast iron welding, the process ideas can be summarized as follows: (1) heating the welding parts, prolonging the time when the fusion zone is in the red hot state, so as to make the graphite fully precipitate and avoid white spots in the fusion zone. (2) The welding rod and welding wire with high silicon content shall be used to change the chemical composition of the weld to avoid white spots or other brittle hard structures in the weld metal, such as nickel base electrode and high vanadium steel electrode. (3) For large castings, short welding segment, intermittent welding and scattered welding are adopted to reduce the temperature difference between the weld and fusion zone and the parent body of the weldment as far as possible to prevent local overheating and the formation of white spot structure. (4) The method of "heating and reducing stress zone" is adopted, that is, local heating is applied at the appropriate part of the weldment that may hinder the free expansion and contraction of weld 12, so that the heating zone is elongated due to thermal expansion, while the weld zone and fusion zone are cooled and freely contracted after welding due to welding heating, so as to reduce the thermal stress of weld. (5) "Grits and sand in the weld" means putting some metal with good plasticity in the weld bead, such as copper chips or winding copper wire on the welding rod, so as to improve the plasticity of weld metal, enhance the free shrinkage ability and avoid the occurrence of hot cracks in the weld.
